Poe dislike literary reaction to transcendentalism. But he like transcendentalists , most of his writings as "obscurity for obscurity's sake " or "mysticism for mysticism's sake". He also wrote horror story for example, the tell _tale heart.
Poe married his 13 year old cousin, Virginia Clemm.
The Tell_Tale Heart one of Poe horror story the story is strange. About evil eyes and how human make problem with nothing he though if he killed the evil eyes he will feel comfortable but he became mad.
The point of view used in this story is the unreliable first person narrator. This view very important to the story because the whole story revolves around exploring the ill mind of the narrator.
The omniscient narrator would have to be instead in the old man thoughts and feeling, which would detract or take attention from the narrator madness.
The details that reveal the important of the unreliable first persona narrator to this story revolve around his madness. Such as details include how performed his crime, which he call "work" .
The extreme behavior, repetitions of words, description of very acute or strong senses and haunting thoughts all details the narrator's madness.
The title " The Tell _ Tale Heart" could be seen as essentially linked to point of view. Take look at the words "tell tale " who is the teller of this tale?
Is it the unreliable first person narrator who promised to tell the tale at the beginning of the story. What told the tale strange question think about it. The heart of the old man that was beating ever so loudly? What about the heart of the narrator – the heart that could actually belong to the unreliable narrator, who by the end of the story has done two things revealed his crime and madness.
The story took the narrator sadness from his real life to his writer and make it as horror. The horror it natural habits human been and they need to express it our narrator try to explain it in his story.
In addition the narrator used the word more than one time that mean he is feeling uncomfortable and there is same think in his mind, let him wrote in horror way. Also, he include the details in the crime as some think good happen in the story.
